    Hello,
    My sites are hosted in DreamHost in a VPS with a Mysql server.
    Since the last update, and I think the one before, I cannot:
    – See the backup links (no big deal since I have them in the cloud but still scary not getting a message or something that tells me it′s being done.
    – i can not force backups.

    As a plus for some time now, I′m getting over the memory limit (460) in my SQL server. Do you think that maybe related to your plugin backups? I backup almost 10 sites (small 500MB the most) every week more or less.

    Thanks,
    Amaranta

    Well… Thats weird.

    What happens when you turn on logging and, say, backup the DB only? Usually that’s a quick and faster test of things.

    Version 4.0.4 SHOULD fix this, and I just released it.

    Hello,
    Just updated. The link to force update asap was visible but once I saved my settings it is no longer visible and there is just a notice telling me when my next backup is scheduled. june 7 1:30pm

    No longer visible or greyed out? It SHOULD grey out so you can’t run two at once.

    no longer visible.. gone.. nothing there below the submit button. I’d attach a screenshot but this site doesn’t easily allow it.

    You can put an image up on cloudup.com or imgur.com or such. You just have to upload them somewhere and link to it.

    Which submit button though? The two on /wp-admin/admin.php?page=dreamobjects-menu-backup are ‘Update Options’ and ‘Backup ASAP’

    * https://cloudup.com/cArYKNG_kSK – Before I click backup ASAP
    * https://cloudup.com/iYBVKyRM8my – VERY small after I click backup

    The button at the bottom stays greyed out until the backup has finished, but it doesn’t vanish.

    Huh… But it WAS there until you clicked backup?

    Can you try flushing all your caches? Browser and anything on the server (like maybe memcached?)

    I cleared browser cache but no change. I notice I have this plugin installed on a number of sites and it does the same thing across all of them unless there is already a backup. I do not have any cache plugins enabled I do have a maintenance plugin enabled though.

    I noticed this a few updates ago and even noticed the existing backups were not listed anymore.. At first I thought it was by design but with the recent updates and it still not appearing I figured I would look into it today and when I arrived here at the support thread and saw previously posted question I knew then i was not alone.

    the site I am looking at right now was just moved from dev to www and I had it installed but not enabled. as soon as I performed the update this morning I logged into dreamhost and got my key info and enabled it. I did see the create backup asap when i first viewed the backups page after entering my key info but once I set the bucket and days etc and clicked save.. that was it any info listed below the “update options” button was no longer visible.

    No, the existing backups do show. Or are supposed to _unless_ you pick “All” and even then it changes the text below… Is all that really just blank space?

    Do you have any adblockers like Ghostery or AdBlock installed?

    Is anything there if you view source?

    I wonder if we’ve found a bizarre conflict ??

    4.0.4 fixed it.. Thanks Mika..
