Hi @frankmagan
Thanks for reaching out!
Hello I have a problem, well through the Facebook for Woocommerce plugin I cannot add or update products on the site. I can’t do a screenshot of this problem. It’s just that when the plug-in is active the publish button doesn’t work, it lights up blue but when I press it nothing happens, no error appears (only in the wordpress logs the errors I inserted in the 1st post appear).
I am sorry to hear that you’re unable to create new or update existing products on your site when the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin is active.
This is quite strange as I am unable to replicate this on my personal site running on the default Storefront theme. I can still create new or update existing products even when the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin is enabled on my end.
It looks like a third-party plugin or your theme might be causing the conflict here.
For us to investigate this further, can you please try to switch to the default Storefront theme and only WooCommerce plugin is enabled, create a new or update an existing product and see if this works?
If so, then this kind of problem is usually caused by your theme or a third-party plugin present on your site. We can run a conflict test to verify this. I’d recommend cloning your site to a staging environment and performing the tests described on this guide without modifying your live site or impacting customers. Many hosts provide staging facilities, so it’s worth checking in with them. It’s also possible to do it using the free WP Staging plugin.
If this was caused by a third-party plugin present on your site, it would be best to reach out to the developers for further assistance here.
If this did not resolve the issue, please share your System Status Report, that will help us further troubleshoot.
You can find it via WooCommerce > Status
. Select Get system report
and then Copy for support
. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.
If you could also provide the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs
.
How can I attach System Status Report and fatal error logs?
It won’t let me. It must be because it is a very large text.
You could copy and paste your reply here or paste it via https://gist.github.com/ and send the link here.
It is happening to many people. I don’t understand why you have to open a thread for each of us, when it’s clear that the problem is not individual, it’s the plugin’s problem.
We ask everyone make a new topic, just for themselves, unless they are?absolutely?certain the problem is the same (like ‘I can’t log in to your service via your website!’).
Furthermore, unless users have the exact same version of WordPress on the same physical server hosted by the same hosts with the same plugins, theme, and configurations, then the odds are the solution for one user will actually?not?be the same for another. Also it means someone else will get alerts for your problems and debugging, when they don’t need it.
Hope this helps!
