    Glad to help.

In order to investigate and try to resolve any problem, it first must be repeatable on default WordPress setup. If you can let me know the basic steps to repeat the issue, I will take a look asap.

Hello, yo can see the problem in this video: https://vimeo.com/901437355/99f1b844f0?share=copy

When I publish with Disable Gutenberg is ok, but when I deactivate the plugin, I cant publish.

Thanks for the video, but again if you want help with this, please let me know the steps to repeat the issue on default WordPress. For example, the steps might look something like this:

    1. Install WordPress
    2. Activate Disable Gutenberg
    3. Do some action
    4. Perform some step
    5. Etc., until the issue happens

Please let me know if any questions about this, it is necessary to continue troubleshooting.

    1. Install WordPress
    2. Activate Disable Gutenberg
    3. Publish a post (ok)
    4. Deactivate Disable Gutenberg
    5. Publish a post. The article remains a draft and the changes are not saved.

Thanks. I followed the steps exactly and was unable to repeat the issue. Are you sure that you were using the default WP theme?

Also just FYI, when a plugin is deactivated, it has zero effect on anything. So posts not updating or whatever (anything happening after your step 4) is due to something other than the DG plugin.

I have tried reinstalling WP and activating the default theme and I still have the same problem.

I understand that an inactive plugin has no effect on the site, but I don’t understand why when Disable Gutenberg is active I can publish articles and if I remove it I can’t.

Yeah I don’t know tbh. It’s not something I have been able to replicate on default WP install (default theme, no other plugins, etc.). If it were me, I would just leave DG deactivated, and focus on figuring out why you are unable to publish/edit posts. Any default WP site supports publishing and editing posts, it’s basic core functionality. So maybe try setting up a new WP install, leave all plugins deactivated and using the default theme, then try to publish/etc. some posts. That will give you a baseline for further troubleshooting and testing.
