I can’t reach my sites, can you?

  • I haven’t been able to reach my sites now for quite a few hours and after 18 e-mails with support, they are blaming me and my dsl company is blaming them.

    Whenever I try to reach my sites, I either get a white page, a this page cannot be displayed error or a database connection error message.Several friends earlier this evening also had trouble accessing the sites or they moved extremely slow.

    I ran a traceroute test and it failed and I have no idea what to do next.

    So if possible can anyone tell me if they can reach these two sites or what happens when you try… thank you ??

  • Well, I checked. I can tell you that on my Firefox I see the crown-logo and butterfly-logo on the tabs, but white, no-content pages on both sites. It is strange. I am hosting the WP sites on my server and had no problem with that (other problems, ok… ?? ).

    I see them both just fine (usig Windows XP, Mozilla Firefox)

    To me, slowness and the site being down just sounds like a server error. Like your webhost had an overload of something and your sitre was unavailable. Happens all the time.

    But the fact that your host is trying to blame *you* for it tells me it’s time for you to get a new webhost.

    Thank you both for your replies, and yes doodlebee they did have problems earlier yesterday and claimed they fixed them.But whatever they did or didn’t do left me unable to view all my sites for quite a few hours, and because they were such big liars about the matter I am most definitely out the door next month.
