• I get an error “error establishing database connection”. I’m trying to find my blog, “www.guardsix6.com”, I don’t know anything about how this works. My blog seems to come and go on WordPress. One day it’s there and the next it’s gone. I have been able to see my files using Filezilla but I can’t make anything out of what’s there. I have another blog that I was going to used called “AllMyComputers” but I don’t want that one and tried to get rid of it but it won’t go away.

    I need some help.

    Thanks.

The blog I need help with is guardsix6.com.

  • Kindly ask your host to check the issue for you.

If the database error is intermitant that means that either your web server or your database server is under-powered for your site and either the DB server or the connection is crashing.

The only ways around that is to reduce the load on the servers by using some sort of caching plugins, by adding extra resources to the server so it can handle more, or moving to a better server.
