I can’t recover my Google Authenticator key

    Please I need your help…

    I activated two factor authentification in my wordpress website with your plugin Google authenticator. So to connect the back office of my website, I need a code generated by the phone app.

    Two weeks ago, I have broken my phone. So I use a new cell now, I installed again the Google authenticator app but I can’t setting the app because I need to flash the code or enter the key.

    The problem : I can’t enter in my back office to recover my key because I need a code to enter in WordPress admin account.

    What Should I do ?

  • Hi,

    FTP into your account. Find the plugins folder and rename it. Then log into your site, rename the plugins folder back to its original name. Enable the plugin and start configuring from scratch. Let me know if this helps you.
