• hi,

i can’t run scan and this is what i get

    Scan Stage Failed

A scan stage has failed to start. This is often because the site either cannot make outbound requests or is blocked from connecting to itself. Wordfence will make up to 5 attempts to resume each failed scan stage. This scan may recover if one of these attempts is successful. Click here for steps you can try.

i did the solve in the link but it didn’t solved my issue

plus in diagnostics there is this:

    • Connecting to Wordfence servers (https)OK
    • Connecting back to this sitewp_remote_post() test back to this server failed! Response was:
403 ForbiddenCloudflare appears to be blocking your site from connecting to itself.

    • Connecting back to this site via IPv6 (not required; failure to connect may not be an issue on some sites)?(opens in new tab)wp_remote_post() test back to this server failed! Response was:

    Hi @majito,

The problem from your diagnostics excerpt there certainly seems to be with the loopback, which can be an issue with Cloudflare if the message at the end is accurate for the platform you’re running on. When you followed the second link, did you change your Cloudflare settings to allow the IPs seen at?Wordfence > Tools > Diagnostics > IP(s) used by this server?

Sometimes customers find they need to allow?our?IPs here too, repeat the same process as above for the list of IPs here:?https://www.wordfence.com/help/advanced/#servers-and-ip-range

Also to ensure Wordfence is detecting IPs correctly, you will most likely need to select “Use the Cloudflare “CF-Connecting-IP” HTTP header to get a visitor IP. Only use if you’re using Cloudflare.” in Wordfence > All Options > General Wordfence Options > How does Wordfence get IPs.

If Cloudflare itself seems properly configured along with Wordfence, we’d be happy to take a closer look at a diagnostic report. Send it to wftest @ wordfence . com directly from the link at the top of the Wordfence > Tools > Diagnostics page. Then click on “Send Report by Email”Please add your forum username where indicated and respond here after you have sent it.

NOTE: It should look as follows – Screenshot of Tools > Diagnostic > Send by Email

    Many thanks,
    Peter.

i run scan now.. it stopped as before but this time it moved on to the file changes.. but didn’t finish.. and i saw again this message

Scan FailedThe current scan looks like it has failed. Its last status update was 6 minutes ago. You may continue to wait in case it resumes or stop and restart the scan. Some sites may need adjustments to run scans reliably. Click here for steps you can try.

the last before the message seen was this

[NOV 11 15:35:33] Error writing value for wfsd_engine (MySQLi error: [2006] MySQL server has gone away)

any clue how to solve and continue the scan?
