There is no global issue that is related to the instructor request. There are some cases that the instructor request might not arrive.
- If you have a custom role management plugin or functionality on your website
In this case, please disable the plugin and check if the instructor request is working
- Please check your website settings > General if the New User Default Role is set to “Subscriber” – https://joxi.ru/2XYp5bohaVGqnA
If this options is not set to “Subscriber”, instructor requests might no arrive.
- Also please check the user that is submitting a request to become an instructor has the “Subscriber” role
- Lastly, if any of the above points don’t help, please send a screenshot/screencast of the errors and logs in the browser after you submit an instructor request – https://joxi.ru/rlMnJ63SZ3wpqm
