    Hello,
    I would like to translate your plugin into my language (French), but LocoTranslate tells me that the .po file is missing. How should I proceed? Thank you

    Hi @terreetterres,

    Currently, there are no translation files included in the plugin, though we aim to include them sometime soon.
    But you can translate the plugin anyway by creating a template in Loco. The strings will then be extracted and create a .pot file which you can then use to translate.
    For that, click on “New language”, create a template, and then choose the language you want to translate into.

    Indeed, the strings are not properly translated. I reproduced this behavior in multiple test systems and will talk to our developers about it.
    We will try to make the translation files available with our next update, but no promises.
    I will get back to you once I know more.

    I managed to translate some strings properly if choosing the location for the new translation in the system directory as seen in this screenshot:

    But please keep in mind that you cannot translate the checkouts javascript content since it comes directly from PayPal.

    From our side, we will take a look at officially providing translation files, but I can’t quite tell when we will be ready to include them.
    If there are any other issues with Loco Translate, I would suggest reaching out to their support for some first-hand knowledge.
