    Hi,

I’ve been using Download Monitor for more than two years without problems.
But recently I noticed that when I try to add a download (pdf file) using the option “add download quickly” it doesn’t works. All I’ve got is a message saying “wait please” and the file never upload to the server.

I also have to say that the user I’m using is an “Editor”. But it worked fine until a couple of weeks ago.
So, how could I fix this problem? Could it be a problem related to the role of the user, or to permissions in upload directory?

I’m using last version of this plugin and WordPress.

    Thank you for your help.

  • Hello,

Does it work when you try uploading the file as an administrator?

    Yes, it does.
But in the past it also worked with a non-admin user (Editor).

    Hey @ argie01,

It might have been possible in version 3.x which has 4 years old. In current plugin to be able to give editors access, you will need to install 3rd party plugins such as “Members” to allow editors access to it.
