I can't use theme post functions when creating an event

    Hi.

    I use the big foot theme from thehappybit.

    I want this theme and plugin but when I create an event I can control as a page events list page by EM settings.

    But I cannot control a single event post because in backend there is no theme post function when creating an event.

    I don’t know so much PHP and which file should I look at ?

    Hiya,

    I’m not sure what you mean exactly, can you clarify please?

    You shouldn’t have to do anything with your theme in order for events to show up on your site.

    As you see there is such a feature named “layout” in my theme. In this way I can add header image to my pages and posts.

    But again as you understand I can’t modify my header images and colors when I will add event via EM. So there is space without image or color in my header area. https://snag.gy/lFjNt.jpg

    Do you mean you don’t see the Layout panel on the Add / Edit Events pages?

    Or just simply re-copy your theme single.php and then rename it as single-event.php

    Angelo, thank you but I didn’t achieve.

    I re-copied my theme single.php and then renamed it as single-event.php. But I can’t see “layout” option in the panel ?

    What is the wrong step ?

    -> sorry, should the layout option/panel should be included in the single events page or in the backend event form?
