I changed the theme of my site and it stopped working

  • I need help please. I changed the theme of my website and I got a fatal error after: Warning: require(/home4/craynefa/public_html/gettingthedealnews/wp-content/themes/masunurin/functions/option.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home4/craynefa/public_html/gettingthedealnews/wp-content/themes/masunurin/masunurin/functions.php on line 18

    Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home4/craynefa/public_html/gettingthedealnews/wp-content/themes/masunurin/functions/option.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib64/php’) in /home4/craynefa/public_html/gettingthedealnews/wp-content/themes/masunurin/masunurin/functions.php on line 18

    I could not access the dashboard and any pages of my site so I cant change the theme back to the original.. My website URL is https://www.gettingthedealnews.com/

  • Try switching to the Twenty Ten theme by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    Thanks esmi, what I did was entirely delete the folder of the new theme and it was automatically restored to the twenty ten theme. ??
