I have my authorization token. It shows my site in the dropdown list. I click save and it doesn’t go anywhere.

When I try to force it to load, it says, “Please you must autenthicate and select a site.”

I already authenticated and my site is already the only one in the menu.

No graph is showing up in my dash either.

    Attached album demonstrates my issue:

Hi, can you please tell me if you see any error in the browser console? Simply click on F12 and select console tab.

Also, have you clicked on save button?

Hi. Thank you for getting back to me. This is the error appearing inside the console.

    Yes, I clicked save.

Pardon the spam, but I recreated the same issue inside of Firefox. This image shows what appeared inside the console.

    Hi,

thanks for your feedback. The error is saying that your code is invalid. Any chance you can create a temporary access to your site for me to let me take a view?

You can create an account to my email: [email protected]

Do you have any ad block on your browser?

I have an ad blocker in Chrome, but not Firefox. Firefox wouldn’t let me authenticate either.

But I think I understand what happened since this issue seemed to coincide with your scope fix.

Do I need to enable a certain scope or scopes to use Search Console?

    Thank you for your time.

    You were using custom credentials?

I have removed it, to simplify a lot the codebase.

I didn’t think I was since I followed the steps to allow Google to generate the code automatically as seen in my original screenshots, but the error I was getting back seems to do with OAuth 2 authorization and I haven’t somehow blocked access at any level as this worked prior to one of the recent updates.

Now, I’m following the same steps. I’m no longer receiving an error, but it’s still not authenticating as it should.

I just created an account with the email you provided so you can have a look.

I haven’t received the confirmation on accoun creation. Can you provide your site url?

Or please send a notification to [email protected]?

I’ve sent a password reset request. Please let me know if you get it. ??

Well, I’m in and I think I found the problem. The site is not selected in your case because in the dropdown select there are only one option.

I think I must add a further check to select at least the first one.

I will release a fix asap.

    How wonderful! Thank you. ??

Can you please update to the latest and give me feedback?

Hi there! I just updated it and tried again.

I now have the dropdown list, but for some reason, it’s still not letting me make a selection.

You can log in to take a peek if that would help.

UPDATE: Never mind! I refreshed and it appears to be working now! ??

    Glad it works now.

    I mark this as resolved.

    Thanks
