Hello. I converted my site from http to https. I have 100s of photos uploaded to NextGEN Gallery but they’re all http. I’m getting messages inside of WordPress Dashboard telling me that I have incompatibility issues. Do I have to upload each photo again? If not, how do I square away this issue so that my site doesn’t get whacked by Google? I currently have NextGEN gallery deactivated. Let me know. Thanks.

    Hi @jonathanbowen!

No, you shouldn’t have to re-upload your images. You might try running the reset tool under Gallery > Other Options > Reset Options… this can help clear some gallery cache and should help update the gallery paths to the newly updated URLs. They should have updated on their own, but sometimes resetting will help clear things out ??

    I hope this helps!

@imagely Hello. I can’t seem to get the “Other Options” page using either Chrome or Safari in macOS to populate. Gah!

Hmm.. Let’s first check to see if there is a plugin conflict happening. Temporarily deactivate all plugins, then reactivate NextGEN Gallery only. Does the issue still appear? If so, temporarily switch to a WordPress theme (this deactivation is only intended to quickly check to see if the issue goes away or is still present). If by deactivating the other plugins, the issue does go away, reactivate each of the other plugins one at a time to locate the culprit. Keep me posted on your results ??

Because it has been a month or more since your last reply, I am going to mark this as resolved as I assume you have found a solution. Please feel free to reply again if you still have questions. ??

    Thanks!

I’m not quite sure how the issue was resolved but it has seemingly resolved itself… Thanks.
