I could use some help. Thank you

  • I am designing my first blog and it has very little content right now because I am concentrating on the design elements, which is what I would appreciate some help with.
    I am using Inove because I like the clean look, but . . .
    1. The Header isn’t easily modified. Any simple way to change the Inove header?
    2. I don’t like the fonts: Is there any easy means of changing fonts?
    specially in the sidebar, the fonts are way too big, in fact I’d like the sidebar to be less wide.
    3. I’d like to place my Categories as a Menu, but not loose my Pages as the menu. I don’t see any way to have both with Inove: Suggestions?
    4. There are many other things, but this will get things started.
    Any help and advise (except “go away”) is greatly appreciated.
    Also, can a favicon.ico be used for the blog?
    I placed my favicon in the parent folder but it isn’t doing anything.

  • Not to be rude but i am sick of seeing this theme. I see it in about 1/10 sites I look at. Before you get help customizing this theme I would suggest you explore different options and see what other themes you can find that suit you.

    kperrone, would you mind telling me what theme you are using for kperrone
    ? And, I can see there are widgets that help out, but otherwise is the template heavily modified? I think I have looked at all the available themes and so many are way too dark and busy for my taste.

    kperrone, i guess i deserve it! I’ve looked, and looked again at diff themes. Any suggestions? The cleaner the better, and more easily modified without going into the code files the better.

    jacquemo, I use Convergence which costs $25.00 USD. I have modified it a lot to fit my needs but it’s a very interesting theme to work with if you don’t mind spending the money. Themeforest.net has a lot of very nice themes if you are willing to pay go check them out.
