I crashed my site and nothing is working

  • I tried putting a code in the backend of my site and obviously placed it in the wrong spot because I can no longer access my website or my dashboard. I then tried to access my FTP via filezilla (I host with Bluehost) and it will not connect to server. I turned off firewall, activiated active mode over passive mode. Literally nothing is working. Please please help! Any suggestions are appreciated!!!

    (1) If you are having difficulties accessing your site through FTP, you should contact your host: that’s not a WordPress issue. In the meantime, one possibility is to use the file manager built into CPanel (or whichever interface your host uses).

    I was able to access the corrupted file from the file manager in Cpanel and remove the broken script. Thanks!
