Hi! And if the Theme originator for Leather Diary is around, please see if you can help….! (thanks)

I am so new at html. I mean Greek. Oops, html. I have places on my website where there is too much space in between items (like wheelchairs, pictures, description, then tons of space, and on to the next wheelchair).

    Ex: https://disabilitypossibilities.com/wheelchairs-and-accessories

So in Visual mode I went in and hit delete to get rid of them, updated. Amazing. They are still there.

Then I got brave and went into Text mode and deleted the <p>’s and other odds and ends I know are just there to boggle my mind. Update. Go back.

Little stinkers returned! They are like cats. The # of lives depends on the amount of times I deleted them.

    What the…..Sam Hill??

    What am I doing wrong?

I’m not real fond of doing things over and over and over and…..duh.

Any response so much appreciated. I’ll give you a discount on a wheelchair…..;)

    Thanks so much!

    Hi ParisBrief,

I visited the link above but cannot see any content on that page, just the header and and righthand sidebar with a google ad under the menu.

Is the contect private at the moment?

    Kind regards,
    Drew

The wordpress WYSIWYG editor will automatically place <p></p> tags and occassionally page breaks every so often. You can stop it from adding these in by adding in the following to functions.php i believe (though i have not tested myself).

    <?php remove_filter ('the_content', 'wpautop'); ?>

Thanks to Tex and Drew for offering input. I forgot to come back here to let ya’all know I’m taking that page down. Revamping my revamp….lol.

WP is hard when you have absolute no experience, but I’m hanging in.

Thanks again. I’m sure I’ll be back to other questions.
