• I was trying to delete pre-installed pictures from a slider theme (Perfect Picture by Wayne) and replace them with my own and I messed up my account. I deleted somes codes and now everything has been wiped out. My website site won’t load and I can’t log in as admin. When we tried to, it said, account exists but it won’t let me log in. I screwed up big time and I need help to retrieve my site. I am not savvy in wordpress or computer lingo at all! I need all of the help I can get.

  • You’ll need to use FTP (or other file manager your host uses) to rename that theme – so that WP will default to the twentytwelve theme – then reinstall the theme you messed up.

Note that any changes you’ve made to theme files will be lost – so save a copy of the theme files if you’ve done that (which is not advisable in the first place – you should use a child theme for changes.)
