I deleted the code from my Los Angeles: Header (header.php) by pressing the Update File botton.

I have a copy of the code, but I dont know how to edit it back into place.

    Please help!

  • Can you just copy the code back into the file and update?

Are you saying that you have a copy of the code that you deleted, or a copy of the entire header.php file?

We need more info in order to help.

so you have a copy of the code you removed?
and you don’t know from which line you removed it right?

this can be easily done through 2 ways. need a little more details on what exactly you mean

I ended up deleting the Los Angeles Theme and uploading the theme again, but now the colors are off and some other fuctions are off. Is it possible to update the current php code with my previous code?

When I go into Apperance >Theme>Editor>Header

There is no way to edit and paste the php file in my wordpress.

if you have the code and you know in which line it has to be put in then you can edit your header.

    go to header.php

and put your code as it is at the place where it was earlier.

Thank you for your help Rohit.

I tried to paste it, but it wont paste. There is no way to edit

What is the code that you have?
    Send that code

What do you mean by no way to edit? Can you describe what you encounter? Are the file permissions set properly?
