I don't get it

I’ve downloaded, unzipped and went to readme, it came up and I clicked on wp-admin/install.php I get nothing or random BS and boxes to fill that I can’t read what it wants. I did the “fix” and that doesn’t work.

I have a web page with both Free webs and Vista print, but pages I own the domain. I would love to use this. But I can’t find out how to get it working.

If that isn’t bad enough My net keeps going out (in a hotel at the moment). And that just pisses me off to no end. I have an account with the Bank as I should, but I have no way of getting this working. So much for easy install as I’ve been looking on this and tying things and nothing works.
