• I installed the itunespy (https://www.crea-doo.at/itunesspy/) plug-in which requires an apple script to be running (for osx) and then the script to be installed onto my server. I’ve activated the plugin, entered an amazon key (so I can get album art), clicked the box that said “use itunesspy” and entered my password into both the apple script and the itunesspy file so it can authenticate the exchange of data.

However, I clicked on “write” for a new blog entry, then hit publish and nothing happened. I had itunes running and everything.

I’m new to this so I am a bit lost. While blogging do I need to enter something into the body of my entry to use the plugin?

  • Ok. Are you saying that you didn’t write anything in your body of your post? And that you’re using the standard index.php or default page.php template?

I did not alter the index.php. Should I have?

Does your new plugin come with a readme.txt file? If so, there may be a function to call it into play. Does your new plugin have a website you can check for install directions/problems?
