    Hi @eggbird – Full Site Editing is a way to edit all parts of your site using the block editor, such as footer and header, but Twenty Twenty doesn’t support Full Site Editing, so you wouldn’t be using it there.

    Could you explain in a little more detail what you’re trying to do?

    If you need more help using Twenty Twenty, the best place to post would be in its own forum:

    I did a little experimentation to better understand Gutenberg. I understand Twenty Twenty has no Full Site Editing, so I don’t understand the header on https://hetgambiet.nl which is made in Full Site Editing style ? I want to get rid of this header …..

    When you say you want to get rid of the header, could you explain in more detail what you’re trying to remove?

    Here’s a screenshot showing what parts make up your header area:

    All would be nice …..

    To hide that whole area in Twenty Twenty you’d need to add this custom CSS in the CSS editor under Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS:

    /* Hide site header */
    #site-header {
      display: none;
    }

    Let me know if that does the trick!

    Oke, thanks, problem solved ….

    You’re welcome, glad that achieved what you wanted to accomplish. I’ll mark this post as resolved, and don’t hesitate to post again in the Twenty Twenty theme forum I linked to above if you need help with something else.

    The full list of page links is still in the HTML source twice.

    If you are pleased with hiding the entire header, I still recommend a few more changes in the Customizer:

    1. Go to Site Identity, and either remove or change the Tagline (Slogan).
    2. Go to Theme Options, and uncheck the “Show search in header” option (Toon zoeken in de header).
    3. Go to Menus, and click Create New Menu (Nieuw menu aanmaken). Enter a name for the menu and check both the first and third checkboxes under Menu Locations: Desktop Horizontal Menu and Mobile Menu. Click the Next button (Volgende), and then you can click Publish without adding any links (if you want the menus to be empty).

    Oke, thanks,

    I understand full site editing is not yet very stable and in development. So my site is experimental ….

    Thanks for letting me know.

    Kind regards,

    @eggbird Just to be super clear, your site is not using Full Site Editing at all. ?? Full Site Editing is only available in certain themes, and the one you’re using (Twenty Twenty) is not one of those.

    I know, I decided, for the time being, not to use it …
