• It says

“Pick any element on your page, and it will stick when it reaches the top of the page when you scroll down. Usually handy for navigation menus, but can be used for any (unique) element on your page.”

” it will stick when it reaches the top of the page when you scroll down.”

It doesn’t make any sense, how come it sticks at the top of the page when scrolling down? when you scroll down the page, you reach the bottom of the page, not top of the page.

  • You’re right, when you put it that way, it can be a bit confusing. Maybe it would make better sense if it would say “it will stick when it reaches the top of the SCREEN when you scroll down the PAGE.”

    Just to elaborate…

When you scroll down, the reader moves down the page, but the page content moves up in the browser window.

So on this page that you’re looking at right now, for example, take the text “About this Plugin” in the sidebar on the right. At first (when you load the page), it’s somewhere in the middle of the screen, between top and bottom. Then when you scroll down, that “About this Plugin” text moves up on your screen.

Hope that clears it up. I’ll make a note of it so I can word it a little better in the next update. ??
