    Jetpack Mechanic ??

It looks like you’re using a caching plugin, as well as your own custom style for the sharing icons.

Could you try to flush your site’s cache? If that doesn’t help, could you try to switch to a different theme to see if the problem happens when your custom sharing styles aren’t applied?

Let me know how it goes.

Hi, i have the same problem, since the last upgrade. My website is hosted in godaddy and i have flushed the cache several times but the problem do not go away.

If i change to the twenty sixteen there is no problem. Did the upgrade break something in my theme?

It’s possible indeed, if your theme made some changes to the look of the Jetpack sharing buttons. I’d suggest contacting the theme author, and asking them if they’ve included things to customize the look of the Jetpack sharing buttons, like using a different icon font, or changing some of the Genericon icon font styles. We’ve moved away from Genericons in Jetpack 4.1 and now use Social Logos, a lighter solution. If your theme forces the use of Genericons, that could cause issues.

    Hi Jeremy

I made my wordpress theme and didn’t change anything, it was working on 4.1 but not on 4.1.1

I have not customize the look of the Jetpack sharing buttons, i also see that other users are facing the same problem https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/icons-on-share-not-displaying?replies=5

You can look at one of my posts to see the problem https://www.otakupt.com/cinema/filme-de-tomb-raider-em-2018/

Interestingly the problem appears to be affecting non english websites, could it be related to that?

FYI, I had the exact same problem on a non-english (greek) website. In my case, I had some custom CSS setting the font family to Genericons. As soon as I removed it, the problem was fixed.

@bushidopt Could you go to Settings > Sharing, and make sure the button style is set to use icons. You can do that by choosing “Icon + Text” or “Icon Only”.

Let me know how it goes.

@ettore.gabrielli If switching to one of the default themes helps, I’d recommend contacting your theme author for help.
