I edit a page hit 'update' and page skips to homepage without saving

  • When I edit a page, or a menu, and hit ‘save’ or ‘update’, it jumps to my homepage and does not publish/save the change. What could be the matter.

    Is this a new install or has it been working in the past?

    What version are you using, any updates or plugins installed recently that could have broken it?

    Have you tried one of the standard WordPress themes (i.e. TwentyFifteen) to see if it does the same thing?
