• Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_DOUBLE_ARROW in /home/oluele/cloudstorageservicesreview.com/wp-content/themes/discover/options.php on line 64

I am a newbie in HTML programming. I got the error above after trying to adjust some lines in the options editor. I know what the error was but i cannot log in back and correct it. Does anybody know what i can do to access the option.php back?

    Thank you

  • Via FTP/ hosting control panel, delete the theme discover and upload a freshly downloaded copy of the theme.

If you have edited the original theme files, consider creating a child theme for editing/ modifications so that you will not lose the changes when you update the parent theme.

    Thank you Krishna.

I tried to delete the theme but couldn’t. Perhaps I don’t know the exact place to go in the control panel. I am hosting with Dreamhost. I went to Manage Domain -> FTP -> clicked my website -> wp-content -> Themes -> Discover -> options.php and saw the error but i could not edit neither could i delete the entire folder. I later deleted WordPress and tried using One-click install. The error message delivered was

“The problem was directory /home/oluele/cloudstorageservicesreview.com is not empty! Please re-install, specifying an empty (or new) directory.

Please correct this and go to our web panel and re-submit your
    wordpress installation request.”

I do not know how to go from here.

Please kindly assist me. All that is needed is just to delete the line and I will be good to go.

    Thanks once again.

Just rename the Discover folder by adding -HOLD and see if it helps. Try to view your site after that (if WP is NOT deleted).

Make sure that you have backed up your site.
