8 time on 10 I get the 524 error, so I have to refresh the page and hope it will work or not…
I’m hosted on SiteGround, they told me that is not a hosting fault but it is the plugin, apparently the plugin sends the request to its own server but there is no reply and the site gets the 524 error.
I was willing to get the pro version but honestly doesn’t worth if I cannot even use it at 100%.

@vs999 In order to assist you better, I need some print screens with the actual error you’re getting and obviously the URL to your website. If you’re not comfortable sharing this information here, you can do it via https://www.gabelivan.com/contact/ – since this is the first time I’m receiving this complaint (perhaps it is the plugin’s fault you never know), I can only guess what’s going on there.

@vs999 I got your email and I’m looking into it! No worries, this kind of things always have a fix ??

@vs999 as we discussed it privately and enabling the option “Manage in the front-end” made it work fine when the CSS & JS manager was used in the front-end view, I’ll mark this topic as resolved as it seems to be an isolated case (I don’t recall another complaint about any 524 error). Perhaps there are indeed too many fields in the edit post/page area that combined with other plugins’ fields, ended up being too much to process for the server.

This article is good to read for those having pages with too many fields: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/problems-with-large-amounts-of-data-not-saving-variations-rates-etc/ – it refers to WooCommerce, but it applies to any plugin that appends form fields in the edit post/page area, ending up in a large page with more fields than are set in php.ini’s max_input_vars.
