• This was supposed to be easy. Ha! I can’t even log in with the password WordPress gave me. They ask for me to do a whole bunch of techie things – impossible for me to even begin to understand. There must be a better, easier way. I even bought the HUGE WordPress for Dummies Book. You have to be smarter than a dummy to understand this. Sigh. I really am no dummy, but I’m no techie either. I’m going to have to give up on WP. Sorry.

  • It looks like a lot of the documentation for WordPress is out of date. I am stuck trying to add users to the database right now with a newer verson of phpMyadmin then the manual uses so I am stuck.

Best thing is to identify and attack one problem at a time. If you are trying to login to WordPress, it sounds like you are a lot further along then I am.

Sorry to hear your troubles. Are y’all trying to install WP on your own servers? I use WP for a network of sites at work, using the one-click install process provided by our webhost, and it ain’t hard at all! In fact, I’m actually considering using WP for my own personal side-business…I was all set to go with a “proprietary system,” 3dcart.com, when I realized that WP seems to offer a lot of what I want anyway….
