I give up! Why it doesn't read from my IE6 stylesheet?

It has been a month since I’m trying to figure this out.
Being a mac user I didn’t realise when my IE6 stylesheet stopped working, but it doesn’t!
It reads only from my style.css now.
I have tried many suggestions – the code for serving the default theme and others i just can’t figure it out if someone can help pls?

Now I use

<link href="<?php bloginfo('stylesheet_url'); ?>" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="all" href="<?php bloginfo('template_url'); ?>/ie6.css" />
<![endif]-->

but it doesn’t read from my ie6.css anything :/
