I hate what is happening to WP – Images

There are now multiple sizes of image being created on upload. However I can not choose the size I want. Why?

The whole direction WP is going makes me so sad. I chose WP for very specific reasons years ago, the main one being content is not style and style is not content, and now that’s all gone. Clean content in the database – gone.

Now you’re making multiple sizes of images that are NOT even what I want, so I have to add what I want to the already extra three sizes, on top of what I set in the media settings. I can’t find any information on those sizes could register them to show in classic editor as a choice or not.

Why why why are you ruining WordPress for those of us who like being in control and don’t like drag and drop boxes.
