Hi there @mspro79! A few questions for you to help us troubleshoot:

    1. Can you tell me where you are seeing this error? An image or video would be very helpful. The forums do not support screenshot uploads, so you can share one via a link generated by Imgur or JumpShare.
    2. Can you please share your Site Health information privately via this form?

    Thank you!

@mspro79 thank you for providing the information. This could be the result of a plugin conflict but before we explore that route would you first be able to reset your Site Kit and try again?

You can do this by going to Tools > Available Tools > Reset Site Kit. When trying the setup again make sure to accept all permissions when prompted.

If you are still then facing the issue we can look at what plugins could be causing this to happen.

Hi @adamdunnage. Yes, I tried this reset too many times. But it’s the same.

@mspro79 Okay if possible would you be able to temporarily disable the Jannah Speed Optimization plugin you have on your site and try Site Kit again?

If this doesn’t work it would be helpful if you could try running through the steps below which will rule out any plugin or theme conflict:

    1. Login to your site from a Chrome browser incognito window.
    2. Install and activate the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.
    3. Navigate to “Plugins > Health Check & Troubleshooting > Troubleshoot”.
    4. From the same screen click on the “Available Plugins” tab at the top right and then click on the “Enable” option next to “Site Kit by Google”.
    5. Attempt to setup Site Kit once more.

Let me know how you get on with the above.

how can I install the previous version for Site Kit?

@mspro79 sorry to hear you are still having these issues. This could be related to hosting. It is worth checking with your host provider to ensure nothing from Google Site Kit is being blocked from the hosting side.

You can find all releases for Site Kit here but we recommend using the latest version if possible so it would be good to find the cause of your problem so that you can use the latest version.
