    Hi there,

Btw Thanks for a great plugin, however I have a question.
So I used it for my country (Indonesia) in which I have extra field like City, Disctrict and SubDistrict.

In the ‘ADDRESS BOOK’ section when i tried to add the full address, it works perfect. You can see the field of ‘city, subdistrict and district’ can fetch the list from my shipping plugin as you can see here https://snipboard.io/9sTu3y.jpg

however in check out area, when I tried to select from the dropdown, it fetch all data from the address book but ‘city, subdistrict and district’. Is it possible if it can fetch data for city/subdistrict and district? Do you have functions code for that? see https://snipboard.io/aZTO68.jpg

    Thanks a lot

Sorry I think i missed this info.

So these 3 extra field needs to be auto populated as well in the checkout area.
    see — > https://snipboard.io/37lokg.jpg

    Currently it isnt.

I’ve read the code for state and country from here https://github.com/hallme/woo-address-book/blob/6ee0d69d9c234b698107b7cca7fcc58a4ba288c7/assets/js/scripts.js#L221-L250

but I couldn’t figure out how to make the code myself.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

I think I see the issue. With your country it looks like all of those fields are dropdown field when most other countries those fields are text entry fields.

We can take a look at getting it to work for those for you. As you saw we have special conditions for the State and Country fields so handle the dropdowns for those but it looks like we need to detect if any field is a dropdown and handle it as so.

I’ll update this again when we have an updated version that is working for those.

We have just released version 2.0.1 which should fix this issue with the dropdown fields.

Hi, I’ve tried updating the plugin to version 2.0.1 but still doesn’t fix my issue.

Is it because I have a different field id for city, district and subdistrict than the regular woocommerce field?

The new version now handles dropdown fields with any field ids. We’ve tested it using many custom fields added onto WooCommerce.

It may be related to how they are being added to your site if they are added in a non-standard way.

Can you share any more details of your setup so we are able to reproduce the issue?

@diamanta29 Please don’t offer to send or post logon credentials on these forums:

You can contact the author on their own site and, once there, the discussion is between the two of you. However, it is not OK to offer, enter or send site credentials on these forums. We don’t want to encourage others (who are less reputable) to do similar things. It’s a fine line, but one that we need to enforce. Thanks for your cooperation.

@matt-h-1 I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials on these forums.

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us escalating this to the plugins team.

It’s never necessary to do that. Here’s why.

There are many ways to get information you need and accessing the user’s site is not one of them. That’s going too far.

    You get the idea.

Volunteer support is not easy. But these forums need to a safe place for all users, experienced or new. Accessing their system that way is a short cut that will get you into real trouble in these forums.
