Hi @biharking
Thanks for using the Super Web Share plugin and for sharing the kind words.
Regarding bug 1:
It’s not at all a bug; it’s restricted by us purposefully on the archive pages to not show any sharing buttons from SuperWebShare (the shop page is also an archive page listing the products). We noticed that different links from posts and products listed on an archive page are being used when clicking on the floating and inline share options on an archive page, which makes the incorrect link gets shared.
This is already within our roadmap to take a closer look at this, but it seems like we need to rewrite some code to make this work.
Regarding suggestion:
Thanks for the suggestion. We initially planned to use the page URL (plain link) as an option to provide the short link feature. Later, we noticed that many sites are removing the plain link URL from the source code; when this happens, the feature won’t get worked on those sites. So it’s not a good solution that we can be implemented with that logic.
Another option is integrating 3rd party short link providers. Before that happens, we need to add more features on our roadmap that helps users to control the share button and use the plugin a lot easier with more cool features.
If you notice any suggestions or bugs, you are always welcome to share them with us via our GitHub: https://github.com/superwebshare/super-web-share/issues/new/choose
Have a great day!
