I Have no acces to my websites old files or data base and need to switch hosts

  • i used a web dev compnany to host and make my website but they did an awful job and years later i have decided to start it again

    its a word press site and i have back end acess to my site but not acess to the controll pannel so i cant make a back up of my who site and then relaunch

    im happy to start again from a clean slate but does that just involve re hosting old domain with new service and installing wp from scratch ?

    If you pay the invoice for the hosting, your host will help you get access.

    If your host is also your Registrar, you would need access to re-point the domain to different nameservers.
