I have not tested the form for some time.

  • But I came to use it and the email is not being sent anymore. The WordPress has been updated and the addin too.

    Before I spend hours trying to track down the problem, does anyone know what is might be with updates from quite a few months ago (maybe a year since I used it)

    That’s the first thing I read.

    Have you contacted your host about this issue? They might have made some changes to your server. Are you able to send a test email from the plugins backend?

    I have other websites on the same account (host) so I will check the others that have a php mail client.

    No, the test email did not got through but unfortunately I didn’t have time to look at the email code, and it’s way too small for my old eyes. Yes I know the Ctrl/shft/+ .. lol

    I do have one PHP site that I wrote and I think I added a Contact form, I will have to go check.

    I hate it when things just go wrong.. lol

    Well I checked out my other sites and all I added was a email link. So I uploaded a simple PHP mail form and of course it didn’t work.

    Without all the authorisation stuff added. So I am still now closer to getting this fixed (sigh)

    Ran the test mail again and noticed this at the bottom of the debug..

    2016-10-10 11:48:38 Could not instantiate mail function.

    Never mind !! I installed Contact Form 7 and it has the same problem !! So it must be the WP release and/or my hosting company.
