I have storefront theme IT WILL NOT ACTIVATE

  • Hi I have the storefront theme, I am running it with woo commerce and product vendors. I’ve tried to activate your plugin over and over today but it gives me an error message saying that I must have storefront to use this plugin. I have cleared my websites cache as well as my browsers cache.
    I do have some custom css code that the happiness engineers have given in regard to my header. Would this affect it? I am running the latest versions of everything.
    It would be great to be able to use this plugin.

    Hi, please check if your storefront folder name has been modified. please make sure your storefront theme is stored in /storefront. send us updates after you check.

    Yes the happiness engineer checked everything and said that he cannot see a reason for the plug-in to not be working. I have added css code to the customiser section but I have never edited the theme files directly.

    Hi I tried again this evening and it activated. The only problem was that I could not disable the ‘welcome to my website text. Thank you.

    @carolyn16 nice to hear the plugin is activated now. however if you are still having issues with your site I suggest you check for plugin conflicts. Installing/disabling plugins should not cause problems unlesss there is a conflict somewhere.
