• The last updates messed up with the CSS of my child theme (mostly in header and footer).

I can’t find precisely the changes that have been done and there is apparently a problem loading the file “…/start/inc/customizer/kirki/assets/css/kirki-styles.css”.

What is this “Kirki” customizer ? Why does it override my child theme CSS ?

Well, I am in process of making this theme more customizable and feature rich while maintaining the code bloat and messy code.

Kirki is just a customizer library to help with creating customizer controls and the output generated.

There has been much work done since v1.0.3. And also to note that WP 4.9 has got some major customizer api updates and this latest version also integrates support for that.

To test the theme you may need to set it as the theme and see if that messes anything, then you may need to debug your child theme if there is an issue with that.

Let me know how it goes.

    Cheers,
    Munir
