After I downloaded the Google Kit add-on to my site and started setting up the add-on, a problem appeared in the add-on as follows:

Site Kit has already been configured by another admin of this site. To use Site Kit as well, sign in with your Google account which has access to Google services for this site (e.g. Google Analytics). Once you complete the 3 setup steps, you’ll see stats from all activated Google services.?

When I went to the account settings, I went to the attached link and the following problem appeared:

The request to the authentication proxy has failed with an error: site not found

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Thanks for getting in touch @abubakr700. The “site not found” error you’re facing indicates that your site was previously connected, and when trying to communicate to set up the plugin once more, it’s not recognizing your credentials. So we can determine more on this, and ensure you can get the plugin successfully connected, please share the following:

    1. Your?Site Health information. You can?use this form?to share privately if preferred.??
    2. What is the URL of the page where you see this error? I ask as this may contain a no longer valid callback URL, based on your previous site. If so, you may be able to correct the URL to march your current setup in order to proceed.
    3. Did you at any stage change your wp-admin path or your WordPress files location directory? If so please share details.

Another option may be to modify your site URLs in order to proceed, adding or removing a www path. Alternatively, if we can determine incorrect records on the Site Kit service, we may be able to correct them. Once we have the information above we can troubleshoot further.

Let me know if you have any questions with the above.

Thanks for your quick response @jamesosborne
The URL of the page where the error appears is
    https://ntaqaljwza.com/wp-admin/index.php?action=googlesitekit_proxy_setup_start&nonce=5b435d6b0e
I did not change the wp-admin path or my WordPress files directory
I have completed filling out the form

Thanks for sharing the additional information @abubakr700. Based on the details you kindly shared, I can go ahead and perform a check and reset your site records if you wish. Note that this may take a couple of days.

Alternatively, you can change your site URLs by adding a www path to both references in your general settings (Settings > General). Change both your “Site URL” and WordPress address URLs to?https://www.ntaqaljwza.com.(with the www). After doing so please attempt Site Kit set up once more. Note that this will ensure your site is using a www prefix overall.

Let me know if you wish for me to request a check and update of your records in the meantime.

Thanks for the update. Just to confirm, now that you made the changes Site Kit is connected? I can see valid Google Analytics snippets placed on your site. If so, let me know if you encounter any errors when reverting to the non-www version of your site. If so, I can go ahead and request a check for site records on the service.

Thanks for confirming @abubakr700. I can see there are some Site Kit snippets placed on your site. Before I go ahead and request a check, can you perform a plugin reset and confirm what error you encounter after resetting (Tools > Available Tools > Reset Site Kit)?
