I have updated the Amp plugin and the plugin is broken. I’m starting to get the following error.

Fatal error: Cannot make static method AMP_Customizer_Design_Settings::register_customizer_ui() non static in class AMPFORWP_Customizer_Design_Contols in /home/mobilapk/public_html/wp-content/plugins/accelerated-mobile-pages/templates/customizer/customizer.php on line 0

I removed it now ampforwp, but the sample page: https://mobilapk.com/download-shadow-fight-3-mod-apk/

How do I resolve the above error

The update is out and it’s working great.

Are there steps in place to help avoid this issue in the future? Taking sites offline completely is a huge issue. Especially since owners can’t get the new version of the plugin due to fatal errors. Manual FTP work is required.

Error 500 fixed.
Now generates validation error:
Validation Status: FAIL
line 290, column 368:

The tag ‘script’ is disallowed except in specific forms.

You’ll need to FTP/SFTP into your account and rename the accelerated mobile pages plugin folder. Then your site will work again. If you don’t know how to do that, ask your host for help.

Hi @juansolanoinfo,

Please update to the latest version i.e., 0.9.58 and delete the AMP by Automattic plugin, It will resolve your problems.
