• Like @smilesbypayet I’ve been building WordPress sites for a long time and have explored just about every decent free and premium share plugin.

After wasting far too much time and money trawling CodeCanyon and the WordPress repository I somehow stumbled on Social Warfare.

These guys may not be the most above the radar developers, but I was impressed enough by the slick design and feature set to shell out for the premium product.

I’m glad I did. The product is solid, looks great, is very responsive and, although I’ve never tested it in depth, seems super lightweight compared to countless other laggy sharing plugins I’ve tried (and paid for). The developers and designers have done a great job at balancing aesthetics with functionality.

Once I tried the premium plugin over a year ago, I stopped looking for any other solution. They’ve got the price point just right, and the support team are super pro-active in dealing with any issues.

Although they have some competition with products like Monarch, the reason I went with SW in the end is that they’re not a bunch of theme designers who make a sharing plugin on the side. The SW guys seem to be ultra-focussed on one thing – to excel at creating the best social plugin for WordPress.
