    Hi,

why every time there is an update of elementor pro, I lose a lot of layout, and sometimes the site completely bugs and by disabling elementskit everything works fine again.

I don’t have access to widgets in elementor, everything is greyed out, it’s really a problem plugin, I have version 2.7

when I deactivate elementskit everything comes back to normal, it’s really a bad plugin, I ask for a refund, too much trouble and waste of time!

  • Hello @bethybest ,
Thanks for reaching out to us!

I understand that you’re having some issues with the ElementsKit plugin, and I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. Please be assured that we are doing the compatibility test of our plugin on an almost daily basis and while testing with the latest Elementor PRO(3.7.5), no issues with ElementsKit have been found so far. Everything is working smoothly as before.

From the details, you’ve mentioned about the issue, It seems it is an infinite loading of Widget Area issue and this generally happens due to the setting on your server that needs to be adjusted or conflicts with any specific functionality of a plugin.

But, most often the issue gets solved by adjusting the server criteria. Please make sure the below configurations match your system:

    - max_execution_time = 300
    - memory_limit = 512M

If you’re not sure as to how to configure these, please contact your hosting provider, they’ll do this for you. You can see your current configurations from Tools > Site Health > Info > Server (https://d.pr/v/zrw0XL)

Up next, you can also disable the ElementsKit Widgets and Modules that you are not using from ElementsKit > Widgets and ElementsKit > Modules. Please check this video(https://d.pr/v/2eb91l) for a better understanding.

I hope that will help to solve the issue. But, if the issue persists even after that, then kindly share the system info of your site(that you can find on Elementor > System Info) for further investigation. If you don’t want to disclose important info about your site like Admin Email, you can remove that information from the system info before sharing that. I will check everything properly and assist you in solving the issue as early as possible.

I would like to share another piece of information that this platform is not the correct place to discuss about the purchase or issues with the PRO plugin. In such cases, it is recommended to create a ticket at our support center. We will be glad to assist you.

Customer satisfaction is always our prime concern and we always strive for it. Looking forward to your valuable response.

    Best Regards,
    Prosenjit

Thank you for your response, we are at Kinsta, and we just saw that we got screwed, because not all of their subscriptions mention the necessary features of the hosting. Indeed following your email we have checked things, and we have as php delay only 256 MB, download file size 128 MB, and other such aberrations.

While most hosts offer a minimum of 512MB in PHP delay, and a minimum of 1024MB in upload file size.

Kinsta asks us to pay €675/month for this configuration, a total aberration!

Tech and sales support kindly sent us over the roses, and don’t want to make any adjustments unless we pay €675/month.

Their business practices are more than outrageous!
So at the moment we can’t run your plugin because of Kinsta host’s restricted services

    Have a nice day.

    Hello @bethybest ,

I can fully understand your concern. If the WordPress stats show that the Memory limit is set to 256M, that means the memory allocated for that specific site is 256M. The Memory limit of the server can be higher than that. You should check the RAM stats from your cPanel which is the main memory of your server.

I’m assuming that the Main Memory is higher than 256M. Now, in order to increase the limit for your site, you can do that by including two lines of code. Kindly follow the steps mentioned in this screencasting and make the changes accordingly.I hope this workaround will help to increase the Memory limit for your site. You can update other variables of the server as well in the same way.

Let me know if that helps or if there is anything else I can help you with.

    Best Regards,
    Prosenjit
