I love the Wordfence Plugin

    Essential Plugin to have because you have to protect your members private data and you must have a firewall on your website at least…

    I Highly Recommend this plugin to all site owners who have a members database they need to protect!

    I’m doing scans regularly and manually changed all settings and it’s very strict but it works very good with my thresholds set as low as possible to make Wordfence trigger very fast if it detects something off…

    I just make my members remember their login details and give them only a few chances if they mispel their name or password and I block those IP’s for at least 24 hours and if I see that pattern repeating I just block the IP forever.

    These are the features that I value the most about this plugin and I love that it’s free, it’s exactly what I was looking for.
