I Made An Intro For My Website But How Would I Make a Layer And Put It On Top?

I have made an HD Video trailer for my website and I want to still have what I have yourappleplace.com but I just want the video to play when you first go to the site, kinda like a flash intro but then just go straight to the main website. Is there a plugin for this or what would I need to do to the code to make this work?
