i mistakenly deleted taxonomy .php file, and it is not in my trash bin…..
so i created a file with the name taxonomy.php to the same folder and my site is working fine……but the file has 0bytes…….
what will happen to my site since the main taxonomy is not there?
and what is the work of taxonomy.php

  • The best thing to do is download a new copy of the WordPress ZIP file, unzip it, and upload that file to your file server. That way you’ll have the correct file where it needs to be. alternatively you can go into ‘Dashboard -> Updates’ and choose ‘Re-install Now’ and it will (should…) do it automatically for you.

@onyejemechimere :- If you have backup of your theme folder then grab taxonomy.php from there and uplaod it, otherwise ask your host they must have backup of those files.
