I Need Help Splitting My Blog

I am currently in the process of splitting out my blog. I need to move some of the posts from one blog to a new blog.

I am unsure of the best way to go around this and would like to do it in such a way that will not disturb my current blog.

I am also concerned about redirects.

Any tips?
