I need help to migrate from AnsPress to WP FORO

    Hi,

    I am trying to migrate from AnsPress to WPForo, but it did not work. I installed the GotoWPForo addon, chose AnsPress, clicked on “Use current database connection credentials” since the forum is a section of the same site, clicked on “Connect”
    , then “Next Step” after I left avatar and attachment path boxes empty (because users are not using custom avatar and I don’t have any attachments). At this step database connection and prefix are marked “OK”. After that I clicked on “Next Step”, but at the end I get error message: “Migrate2wpForo Notice: We can’t find this board on this system”. How can i fix that?

    Please note that i am on a Staging environment, wanting to test before replicating on live site.

    Download the latest Go2wpForo 3.0.1 version and try with that one:

    Hi, facing the same problem,

    I successfully used the migration tool for migrating to a local installed (test) instance of wp with wpForo

    Doing the same with a hosted instance fails with “Migrate2wpForo Notice: We can’t find this board on this system”

    Deinstalled and reinstalled the tool go2wpforo-3.0.1.zip

    Triple checked PHPBB Database Connection, connected to db with phpmyadmin using same exact parameters…

    Solved, issue with understanding the table prefix logic… sorry….
