i Need help to remover fewer code scripts from my wp site.

    I want to ask that here its my client website and he demand to remove these scripts from source code

    I already had del all the plugins and installed new one for new tag but that scripts are not gonna be removed even after deleting plugin, the new plugin which operating is “GTM4WP” and tag’s workin fine, just one thing gonna happening is the records we get in duplicate readings. lemme know how can i get these scripts out via cpanel or themefile, I’ve checked header, footer and other files where that could be inserted.

  • Hi @awaisx99. I can’t see the tags that you wrote because it looks like they were stripped away. Maybe you can create a “Code” block in a comment reply and paste the contents of those scripts into there. You can do this via the blue Plus icon if it’s there in your reply box.

    Otherwise it sounds like you are having trouble finding what is putting those scripts on your site. It’s possible that your theme could be adding them as well. You can share what theme is in use, or share a link to the website to make it easier to see what’s happening.

    You might consider looking under the extra theme options in Divi to see if there’s custom content adding that SCRIPT and those tags. If that’s the case, I would recommend copying the contents of the text boxes in case something goes wrong, and then clearing out the Google Tag code you see. This should remove the duplicate Google Tags code if it’s there.

    Actually the website is up for SEO and 1000 of backlinks acquired in fewer years, also too much campaigns are running on facebook and google, That why i just want to ask is there any possibility that a code showing over google inspect tool, can we trace that code from wordpress Source from C panel?

    Kindly have look into source using right click and ‘View page source option’, there you can serch for provided IDs. you could see the scripts over there.

    I’m sorry, @awaisx99, I’m having trouble understanding what exactly you are asking. Are you attempting to find a way to login to Google and manage your Google Tags account and the campaigns it adds? or are you seeing Google Tags Manager being added twice for the same page views and want to remove one of them? can you try to reword your request and help me understand more specifically what you are after?

    Did you look into your Divi Theme Options under the Integration tab to see if there’s code manually adding the duplicate copy?
