• I know there is a german translation but I cannot find where to set the language ?

I looked all over options – basically the internal admin side can be english just what the user gets subscribe/ unsubscribe / manage subcriptions etc

or it can all be in german – the WP on the site is curently in english

I would search the support forum if i knew how

I think you need to set it in your wp-config.php file. See if this link helps.

That is how to convert the whole site to German – I need the WP kernel in English just what the users sees in German please

WordPress does not support translating just one plug-in. The translation files use the language configuration from the config file. Any plug-in that supports translation will then switch to that language. I don’t think there is a way to do what you would like to do.

Are there certain things like in the message (for example manage subscription, unsubscribe, click here to view in browser, etc.) that you are trying to translate? That stuff could be translatable or managed by you in one of our upcoming updates for custom templates.

Oh I thought I could edit the php files with WPIDE I know each time i upgrade i will have to do it again but it didn’t deem a bige job to deit a few messages – the posts etc for confirmation are all done just the subscribe / mange etc

We have some updates to the template system coming out soon. Tough to say exactly when, but hopefully within the next few weeks. You’ll be able to create a template and edit the text for confirmation, subscribe, manage, etc. yourself. You can put those in German and just make it part of your template. I think that will fix your problem. We are really excited to get templates out!
