Is there a way to create a set of variations that are shared among several products in WooCommerce without external plugins?

  • Hey there, @mohamedali86! Thanks for contacting us. I’m happy to help you.

Yes, it is possible to set attributes to use on multiple products without using an extra plugin.

You can do that by going to Products > Attributes and add the attributes you want there.

Then, on the product you want to add the attributes to > Attributes > Add Existing > Select from the list of attributes you added.

You can click Select values to add the variations, as well as Select All to add them all.

You can find more about attributes in this guide.

I hope this was clarifying. If you face any issues or have any questions, please let us know so we can assist you further.

    Have a wonderful day!

    Thanks carolm29 for your support,

I’m already doing that, but I have added 35 attributes to my products, and it is not logic to add these 35 attribute every time for all each product.

I need a way to add new product and find the 35 attributes already added without adding them manually.

    Best regards

    Hello @mohamedali86,

Thank you for getting back to us!

I understand how adding 35 attributes manually for each product can be time-consuming. However, WooCommerce does not currently support automatic attribute addition to new products.

However, there’s a workaround you can use. You can create a “dummy” product where you’ve added all 35 attributes. Each time you need to add a new product, duplicate this dummy product and just update the necessary details.

This way, you will not have to manually add all the attributes each time.

    I hope this helps!

OK, this is maybe an option, but I think you must add this in other next updates for the plugin, it will be better

    Thanks for help
