I need to be able to add blank rows – cannot do this

This is a terrific plugin. Thank you. I’m having one problem though. I need to be able to insert blank rows in columns – with text or numbers in the rows above or below. I’ve tried using the space bar to insert blank spaces, but to no avail. No blank rows show up! Can you help?
